3D Invigorator Pro 4.0 also supports three-dimensional motion blur, meaning that anything that can be created or imported into the Invigorator Pro can be motion blurred. This includes models made in other programs such as Maya, 3D Studio, and LightWave.

Another extraordinary new feature is the ability for Invigorator objects to track, or mimic, what an After Effects three-dimensional plane is doing. The advanced After Effects user will appreciate that by tracking After Effect's three-dimensional planes, they are now able to use the standard three-dimensional manipulation tools within After Effects to create motion paths and key frames for the Invigorator's objects. You get visible three-dimensional paths, function curve control, animation assistants, and even expression-based control over your three-dimensional animations. The best part is, you just choose a menu option.

New control for texture maps gives you the ability to animate a wrap of a texture as you apply it to an object; and, using the After Effects render engine, the Plug-in supports render framing now as well, that translates to the ability for multiple computers to be used for rendering, saving you valuable production time.

Several coloring options are part of 3D Invigorator Pro. Matte, absolute, and cartoon coloring offer you fun and explosive ways of dealing with your projects. Cartoon coloring renders the three-dimensional objects as though they were drawn by an animator that can give you an eye-catching look. The absolute coloring option is great to put colored strokes around objects, for doing extremely graphic pop art looks, or to make three-dimensional TV screens where the images in the televisions look as though they are lit from within. Matte coloring is a special material option that makes a three-dimensional object act as a mask. When an object with this material is visible it creates a traveling matte or, prints black in the alpha channel.

Other impressive options, including shadow catcher rendering, highlight mapping, wireframe and hidden line rendering, and new swatch handling make 3D Invigorator 4.0 one of those Plug-ins which will leave you with so many new directions to take your design, that you’ll impress yourself. For those of you who haven’t entered the After Effects world yet, the Plug-in gives you one more reason to hurry through that door. For those of you who are already seasoned in After Effects, 3D Invigorator Pro will brighten that world immensely, and keep you there indefinitely.
