Figure 25 You have a number of options for actions that can occur before, during, and after automatic processing.

Folder

Hot folders are the key to the automatic batch-processing features. Each automatic job needs three separate folders. They are the: in folder (monitored by MadeToPrint for incoming QuarkXPress, or QPS documents), out folder (documents that have been processed by MadeToPrint successfully), and error (documents that failed processing by MadeToPrint). These can be defined anywhere within a network and there is no limitation to the number of process folders you may have (other than the availability of hard disc space for the documents that will be stored there).

If you want a boost, click the turbo button and MadeToPrint will automatically create these three folders for you.

Type a number in the scan interval field to define the seconds between the monitoring of the queue (in folder).

Load balancing is when more than one copy of the MadeToPrint Plug-in are monitoring the same in folder. If you have this availability, click the check box for process document rotational to enable load balancing. Keep in mind, however, that MadeToPrint will not recognize subfolders in the in folder.
