MadeToPrint for InDesign, QuarkXPress, and QPS
Page 14
Action
At this point, MadeToPrint for InDesign and MadeToPrint for QuarkXPress differ quite a lot. You can see the differences in figures 30a and 30b.
If you're using InDesign along with MadeToPrint InDesign CSE or SoftCare's K4, you can use JobTickets. If not, then your only option is to process documents and then choose a stored job or set from the setting drop-down menu.
If you are using QuarkXPress there are three options that can be defined: choose an external application to be started before opening the document, choose an external application or script to occur after closing the document, choose the desired MadeToPrint job or set from the drop-down menu, or trigger an action.

Figure 30a and 30b Using MadeToPrint for InDesign you have fewer options for automatic processing.
Folder
Hot folders are the key to the automatic batch-processing features. Each automatic job needs three separate folders. They are the: in folder (monitored by MadeToPrint for incoming InDesign, QuarkXPress, or QPS documents), out folder (documents that have been processed by MadeToPrint successfully), and error (documents that failed processing by MadeToPrint). These can be defined anywhere within a network and there is no limitation to the number of process folders you may have (other than the availability of hard disc space for the documents that will be stored there).
If you want a boost, click the turbo button and MadeToPrint will automatically create these three folders for you.
Type a number in the scan interval field to define the seconds between the monitoring of the queue (in folder).
Load balancing is when more than one copy of the MadeToPrint Plug-in are monitoring the same in folder. If you have this availability, click the check box for process document rotational to enable load balancing. Keep in mind, however, that MadeToPrint will not recognize subfolders in the in folder.

Figure 31a and 31b The folder option enables you to set up the in, out, and error folders to contain your documents throughout the MadeToPrint processing. Click the turbo button to auto-generate these folders.
