Page 3

Figure 4a With the Tab Grabber dialogue box, I can visually or numerically nudge the column, change the alignment of the tab, or change the fill character.
Follow the steps below to adjust tabs in a marquee selection of any area on a page:
Select the Tab Grabber marquee
tool.
Drag the Tab Grabber Marquee tool across the tabs that you wish to adjust.
Choose adjustment values. The Tab Grabber window provides options to adjust the alignment, position, and fill character of tabs. You can choose any combination of these options. Tab Grabber will apply the chosen settings to all of the user-defined tabs in the selection.
Preview the adjustments by clicking the apply button.
To accept the changes, click OK. If you click cancel, your document will not be changed.

Problem: You need to perform a mathematical function on a column of tex as is shown in figure 5a. The final column for wholesale prices needs to be filled in.
Solution: Using Math Grabber you can perform mathematical calculations on numeric text in any area on a page, including vertically or even across multiple text boxes. When using Math Grabber, you can specify the precision, rounding, and separators for the numerical results. In my example, I'll use two grabber XTensions to solve my problem. Copy Grabber to duplicate my retail prices, then Math Grabber to discount them.

Figure 5a Using Copy Grabber, I'll duplicate the retail pricing and put it into the whole sale column with just a couple clicks. To need to retype or copy paste the values one at a time.

Figure 5b Once the values are created, I use Math Grabber to select the column and then I define the calculation to apply to the numbers. You can see the final results on the next page.
