Quark Works with EMC to Integrate Quark XML Author with EMC Documentum
New Integration Makes it Easy for Documentum Users to Create XML Content with Microsoft Word
Denver, CO – July 1, 2009 – Quark announced today its work with EMC to integrate Quark® XML AuthorTM with the EMC Documentum enterprise content management solution to bring easy XML authoring to anyone using Microsoft Word. The integration benefits organizations adopting XML in order to improve collaboration on content creation, enable content reuse, and comply with regulatory mandates such as the Federal Drug Administration’s Structured Product Labeling (SPL) standard.
“Organizations without an XML authoring solution are missing huge opportunities to create intelligent content that can lead to significant efficiency improvements in content driven applications,” said Jeroen Van Rotterdam, General Manager of XML Solutions in the Content Management and Archiving Division at EMC. “The seamless integration between Quark XML Author for Microsoft Word and Documentum provides customers a unique solution for creating and managing XML today based on Microsoft Word, the most desired end-user interface.”
Melissa Webster, Program Vice President of Content Digital Media Technologies for IDC, said, “XML is a key enabler for dynamic enterprise publishing applications. The challenge is making it easy and seamless to leverage the power of XML and component-level content without forcing users to change tools. Quark XML Author turns Microsoft Word into an XML authoring tool, helping to remove an important barrier to mainstream adoption of XML. Integrating Quark XML Author with EMC Documentum gives users a way to author in XML, validate their XML content, manage links between XML documents, and access XML content via standards like XQuery and XPath.”
Quark XML Author allows Microsoft Word users to create intelligent and reusable XML content with little or no training. Now Documentum users can easily and securely manage, review, and edit XML content created with Quark XML Author directly from Microsoft Word. Documentum users can also take advantage of the XML improvements within the Documentum platform, including enhanced content searching with XML Store, multi-channel publishing with XML Transformation Services, and dynamic content delivery with Dynamic Delivery Services. The combined solution:
- Eases the adoption of XML: Anyone familiar with Microsoft Word can author XML content, which speeds deployment to enterprise user communities.
- Removes complexity: Out of the box integration with Documentum’s native XML features simplifies maintenance and system enhancements.
- Improves productivity: The Documentum process portal allows for collaborative authoring and reuse of critical content.
“We are pleased to partner with EMC, a leading provider of enterprise content management,” said John Friske, General Manager of XML technology for Quark. “We have a number of common customers in life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector who will benefit from our end-to-end solution for collaborative content creation and easy content re-use.”
Quark and EMC will conduct a live demonstration of the Quark XML Author and EMC Documentum integration at the EMC Federal Government Forum on July 16, 2009 in Washington D. C. The forum will focus on enterprise content management challenges and solutions relevant to the United States federal government, including records management and compliance.

One Million Dollars for America's Typists
Mountain View, CA - June, 2009 — KeyRight USA of Mountain View, California has established a contest aimed at improving the nation's keyboard literacy. And they are offering up to $1,000,000 in cash, prizes and educational scholarships to individuals, students, school teams and corporate teams who participate in this nationwide competition.
Jerome Whitcroft, inventor of the Look Learn keyboard, revealed that, "There are over 130 million PC users in the US that can't type properly, including scores of millions of children that will never have the opportunity to learn this basic skill. Over 85% of all PC users have deficient keyboard skills, resulting in learning difficulties, reduced productivity and keyboard-related injuries. And, according to Professor Dorothy Rice, National Center for Health Statistics, '...this costs the US economy more than $48 billion per annum.' It's a problem of epidemic proportions."
Mr. Whitcroft adds, "There is a very simple, low-cost solution, the Look Learn Keyboard˙, and it is gaining wide acceptance from school teachers, individuals and business owners and corporations right across America. Teachers and business people know that typing is an essential life skill and that it is fundamental to computer literacy – it's crucial in this IT age." Mr. Whitcroft cited independent research showing that the Look Learn Keyboard accelerates learning and improves existing keyboard skills of children and adults.
Jill Kaplan, the Director of Technology at the Village Community School, New York, agrees, "The KeyRight Keyboards are a hit! The teachers and students both love them and feel that it has made learning to touch type much easier."
KeyRight's, America's Fastest Typist˙ contest is open to everyone. It will have local, regional, state and national "on-line" qualifying heats culminating in national fame for individuals and school and corporate teams in a televised final to be staged in Las Vegas in June, next year. Age–related and proficiency-level divisions mean that just about anybody will have an opportunity to improve their skills and compete to win their, or their team's, division.

XChange International and ThePowerXChange announce the release of FlightAlert for QuarkXPress 8
London, UK – XChange UK and ThePowerXChange.com, the sources for extended technology worldwide, are pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of FlightAlert XT for QuarkXPress 8. FlightAlert XT combines on-the-fly error checking of QuarkXPress projects with one of the most-powerful collect for output engines available. FlightAlert scans QuarkXPress projects for the key problems that regularly waste time, money, and film. It is unique among the so-called flight-checking products in that there is no need to invoke or apply FlightAlert as it works in the background as users work making it an ideal solution for integration into busy production and prepress workflows.
FlightAlert can be set to scan on open, close, save, save as, save page as EPS, and collect for output. By concentrating on the core of common problems, each FlightAlert scan is virtually instantaneous on small documents and negligible on large documents.
The problems recognized and reported on by FlightAlert XT include:
- RGB elements that will not separate properly
- Unwanted spot colors that would waste film
- TIFF images with background set to none (may cause jagged images)
- Non-90 degree rotations that could cause problems for RIPs
- Danger-sign text overflow (it can ignore intentional and harmless overflow)
- Left-over positional graphics that will print low-res
- Missing or modified graphics
- EPS files with missing fonts
- Text with bold or italic applied styles; and
- Many others
FlightAlert also contains one of the most-powerful collect for output (CFO) features available to QuarkXPress users. In a single operation, it can optionally collect:
- All document fonts
- All fonts used in imported EPSs
- All imported graphics
- All components of DCS files
- Any EPSs nested within imported graphics
- Any regularly supplied files such as house style rules
- Application or document preferences
Within the same collect-for-output operation, FlightAlert XT can also perform an automatic search for missing elements, include a customized set of output instructions, generate a document report, and compress the collected items ready for transmission.
FlightAlert XT for QuarkXPress 8, as well as earlier versions of QuarkXPress, is available now through XChange UK or ThePowerXChange.com via electronic delivery worldwide.

For pictures/graphics, users can convert with/without previews, or can choose to exclude the pictures and convert only the picture boxes. Hidden layers and objects that are on the pasteboard may be optionally converted as well.
MarkzTools is an XTension that can be used to prevent corrupted QuarkXPress documents, allowing users to overcome the dreaded “Bad file format [70], [39] and [108]”. Users can also verify their existing documents, so they will immediately know whether the integrity of their Quark documents are suspect. Additionally, users can first save a temporary copy of a document before saving the original document, so that in the event that something goes wrong during the “save” process, the temporary file is still available for recovery.
MarkzTools new version provides the additional functionality of allowing users to save QuarkXPress 8 Projects directly to a Quark 4.1 document format. It can also convert all of the image previews in the document to “grey” drastically reducing the file size of projects. Universal Type Server 2.0 Professional is the only server-based font management solution that offers secure and dynamic integration with Microsoft’s Active Directory and Apple’s Open Directory. This functionality will be available to new and existing Type Server Professional customers at no additional cost for a limited time—a $3500 value.
“The Directory Integration Module offers administrators the easy user management they need in today’s fast-paced work environments,” said Brian Berson, General Manager at Extensis. “This goes far beyond the LDAP functionality available in the market. We’re excited to offer our customers a secure way to simplify and automate user management.” Users on both Mac OS X and Windows benefit from “single sign-on,” leveraging Kerberos secure network authentication, providing an end-to-end solution for client deployment.
Universal Type Server 2.0 has new font license compliance capabilities: using a simple web interface, administrators can tell if their fonts are compliant with their licenses. “Font access reporting, along with the ability to control system font folders, ensures maximum license compliance,” said Thomas Phinney, Senior Product Manager for Font Solutions at Extensis. Through the new system font management feature, Universal Type Server prevents users from installing unlicensed or unapproved fonts directly into the system font folders of the operating system, thereby circumventing the font management system.
With this release, Extensis builds on its commitment to industry standards and proven open source technologies to deliver the best flexibility and performance. A new optional External Database Module, supporting Microsoft SQL Server, will offer increased scalability for demanding environments.
The new version of the Type Client provides Mac and Windows users with an improved experience, including the ability to view all glyphs of a font and print font previews. Users can also “tear-off” a font preview and float it on top of any document to easily compare fonts in any application. With this release, Extensis also provides faster font auto-activation for more applications, with Mac and Windows plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator® and InDesign® CS2, CS3 and CS4, as well as QuarkXPress® 7 and 8.
Universal Type Server is the only client/server font management solution that maintains one true source of data, offering a live, collaborative system. All fonts and font metadata, including classifications, keywords, and regrouped families, are stored in a central location on the server, available to users automatically. Supporting Macintosh and Windows systems on both the server and client, Type Server allows organizations to manage users and fonts for compliance and consistency, as well as centrally store, update and control type libraries for efficiency and security.
Pricing and Availability
Universal Type Server is expected to ship in June 2009. Extensis will begin taking pre-orders for the product immediately. Migration pricing for current FontReserve Server, Suitcase Server, and volume license customers is available. Universal Type Server 2 upgrade, client access license upgrades and the new Directory Integration Module will be available free-of-charge to existing Universal Type Server Professional customers under a current annual service agreement (ASA). In addition, the Directory Integration Module will be offered free of charge for all new Universal Type Server 2.0 Professional customers through the end of 2009. Pricing for all versions, including upgrades, will be announced prior to product availability.
Universal Type Server will be available in English, French and German.

Yaffa Publishing: We Create Magazines for the Truly Obsessed using WoodWing
PRESS RELEASE - for immediate release
Yaffa Publishing: We Create Magazines for the Truly Obsessed using WoodWing
Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia (May 4, 2009) - One of the oldest family-owned publishers in Australia has begun using WoodWing’s Enterprise content publishing platform to produce their large range of niche consumer and business-to-business titles.
Yaffa Publishing is an independent Australian-owned operation with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Amongst their many titles Yaffa publish AdNews (Australia’s top-selling advertising, media and marketing magazine), and the oldest and best-selling fishing magazine in the country; Fishing World. Yaffa is also Australia's premier photography magazine publisher with titles including Australian Photography, Capture and Digital Photography Design and their business-to-business division incorporates over 15 titles spanning industries such as fashion, advertising, healthcare, foodservice and packaging.
“Creative Folks approached us in the middle of 2008 with the concept of streamlining our editorial systems and as soon as we saw the demonstration we realised that WoodWing offered great potential for our business,“ said Matthew Gunn, the Production Director at Yaffa. “In order to prove an impressive ROI we commissioned Creative Folks to scope our new workflow and run a pilot installation. The results were brilliant.”
“Yaffa’s range of niche publications presented us with a unique challenge,” says Andrew Lomas, Project / Sales Director for Creative Folks. “Content for their consumer magazines is produced by editorial teams working from remote coastal locations as well as the Australian outback. We used a combination of WoodWing’s Web Editor with Adobe InCopy and InDesign Server to create a virtual office so that the editors felt as though they were working from head office.”
“When we first starting talking to Creative Folks we were using a mixture of Quark Xpress and Adobe InDesign for page layout, so our workflow was somewhat over complicated. WoodWing’s Smart Styles and Smart Layout plugins made the transition to InDesign easy,” said Matthew Gunn. “For our flat-planning requirements Creative Folks provided us with a site license for van Gennep’s PlanMaker fE which integrates directly with our WoodWing database. Incoming ads are automatically placed in the InDesign file giving us a solid, robust workflow that we couldn’t be happier with.”
“All the people at Yaffa have been open and acceptant of the new system. Change management has not been an issue, with everyone - right up to the Managing Director - embracing the new technology,” says Matthew Green, Managing Director at Creative Folks. “We have been extremely fortunate to be able to work with such a wonderful team.”
“The installation at Yaffa really shows the flexibility of our solutions,” Remco Koster, Managing Director of WoodWing Asia Pacific, said. “Because of the large distances in Australia, being able to work remotely as if you’re in the office is an important feature, and this is working exceptionally well.”
About Yaffa Publishing Group
Yaffa Publishing Group was founded in 1925 with the publication of Newspaper News, the forerunner to AdNews, Australia's top-selling advertising, media and marketing magazine. Yaffa publishes over 35 consumer and business-to-business magazines and is the country's leading marine publisher with titles such as Cruising Helmsman, Australian Sailing and Australasian Yachting.

These upgrades for the company’s powerful add-on tools offer compatibility with the latest page design software from Quark and Adobe. Available fresh on the heels of the recent releases of MEI’s Page Director Ad Layout System (ALS) 5.4, ALS for Magazines 5.4, AdForce 5.4, Classified Layout System (CLS) 3.8 and ClassForce 3.8, FiFi and Fido are designed to enhance the functionality of MEI’s industry-leading ad layout and issue-planning software and increase the productivity of paginators when dealing with missing ads.

MathDaisy 1.0 is Now Shipping
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Microsoft Word users can now create documents with accessible math
LONG BEACH, Calif. - April 13, 2009 - Design Science today announced the release of MathDaisy 1.0. MathDaisy enhances Microsoft's Save As DAISY add-in for Microsoft Word to convert Word documents containing math notation to DAISY Digital Talking Books, ready to be read by students, teachers, engineers, and scientists with vision and learning disabilities, including blindness, low vision, and dyslexia.
Save As DAISY is open source software developed by Microsoft. Once installed, it adds a "Save As Daisy" command to Microsoft Word XP, 2003, and 2007 that converts Word documents into DAISY's Digital Talking Book format. MathDaisy installs into Save As Daisy to support math conversion.
Increasingly, educators and publishers are being required to accommodate their students with special needs by providing content in the DAISY Book format. Students then use DAISY player software, dedicated eBook readers, and other portable devices to read the DAISY Book. "DAISY Books are the format of choice for accessible content. Now that Save As DAISY makes it possible for educators to make their own accessible content, DAISY will really take off. We were happy to work with the DAISY
Consortium and Microsoft to make this happen," said Paul R. Topping, President & CEO of Design Science.
DAISY (Digital Accessible Information SYstem) is a globally recognized XML standard for producing accessible and navigable multimedia documents, including Digital Talking Books (DTBook), digital textbooks, and synchronized audio/text books. DAISY is used by NIMAS (National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standard) for accessible K-12 textbooks and by ePub, a widely used standard for digital books. The latest version of the DAISY standard requires that mathematics be represented in MathML, the World Wide Web Consortium's standard for representing math notation in XML.
Save as DAISY with MathDaisy works well for teachers and professors that must accommodate their students' needs. However, organizations with their own publishing workflow, or those wanting to create a more automated or more powerful DAISY production facility should also be interested in Design Science's MathFlow line of products.
MathDaisy is US $97 for academic users, $179 for non-academic users. Anyone can download MathDaisy from the Design Science website and try it free for 30 days.

Money is still the tipping point for job acceptance
(Port St. Lucie, FL) – TopGrading Solutions recently conducted research to determine how long an unemployed candidate would wait before taking a cut in salary . The search firm is a perennial President Club winner within the MRINetwork®, the world’s largest search and recruitment organization. It works domestically and internationally with a focus on the industries of Payments and Prepaid Systems; Retail and Hospitality Technology; and Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, and Consulting for both permanent and contract hires.
TopGrading Solutions has spent the last 3 months surveying candidates from the Payments and Retail Technology Sector to determine exactly how long they would hold out before taking a new job at a lower salary, if they lost their job today. Results indicate that despite the unstable economy, people are still willing to wait for better, or at least equal compensation. 29.7%: The majority of candidates surveyed, indicated that they would wait at least 120 days (4 months) before considering a cut in their annual salary. 20.3% said they would wait 60 days (2 months) while another 20.3% said they would not take a cut in pay. 16.9% would wait 90 days (3 months). Only 12.8% would consider it after the first 30 days of unemployment.
Ed Schmitt, who specializes in recruiting sales and marketing professionals for companies who offer payment solutions, finds many of his candidates optimistic that the right job with the right money is out there somewhere. “The job market seems to be bouncing back. As we come to the end of this quarter and budgets are set in stone, companies are loosening their purse strings to meet their goals for 2009.”
Although the industry has had its problems with security breaches and large mergers, it seems that companies are anxious to rebuild their portfolios. “Most of these companies have had a poor end to 2008 and slow start to 2009. They are making moves to bring their companies back to their former glory and candidates are aware of this.”

Quark Teams with Leading Enterprise Content Management Provider to Bring XML and DITA to the Masses
Quark and IBM Work Together to Combine the Ease of Quark XML Author with the Benefits of IBM Enterprise Content Management
PHILADELPHIA [AIIM Expo Booth #1032] — April 1, 2009 — Quark announced today that it has teamed with IBM Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to enable the broad adoption of XML across the enterprise by integrating Quark® XML Author with IBM® FileNet® Content Manager. By eliminating barriers previously associated with the creation of DITA-based XML, Quark makes it possible for any IBM FileNet Content Manager user working in Microsoft® Word to author intelligent content that can be reused and delivered to multiple channels or formats.
“In the past, XML authoring was designated for technical writers and IT personnel familiar with XML coding, or required business users to learn complex tools. Quark XML Author has changed the game entirely,” said Ken Bisconti, Vice President of Products and Strategy, IBM Enterprise Content Management. “By integrating Quark XML Author into IBM FileNet Content Manager we are helping enable customers to unlock the value of their business content to reduce costs, increase productivity, improve quality of service, and gain competitive advantage.”
The ability to author, manage, and reuse structured content enables critical business needs, such as managing intellectual property, complying with regulatory mandates, and automating business processes. A simple and streamlined process for XML authoring also allows organizations to:
-- Enable enterprise-wide adoption of XML and DITA
-- Capture and manage the knowledge of business users more effectively
-- Increase the return on content management investments
“Quark’s goal is to move XML authoring from technical experts to non-technical business users and content owners, making it easier for enterprises to create and manage intelligent, structured content,” said Ray Schiavone, President and CEO of Quark. “We are pleased to be working with IBM ECM to combine easy and familiar XML authoring with the benefits of enterprise content management.”
For more information about Quark’s teaming with IBM, please visit www.quark.com/ibm .
Quark XML Author for Microsoft Word
Quark XML Author for Microsoft Word is an XML authoring tool that allows users to easily create XML content in a familiar word processing environment. Quark XML Author enhances Microsoft Word’s native XML support by allowing users to create narrative XML documents directly — without seeing tags, being constrained to boxes, or being aware of the technical complexities associated with XML. Equally important, Quark XML Author ensures that the content an author creates is constantly validated against the XML standard — eliminating the need to rework content at a later time.
About XML and DITA
To achieve consistency and avoid redundancy in technical documentation, technical writers adopted XML early to repurpose their content and manage complex documentation. XML became the de facto standard for structuring intelligent documents, with DITA emerging as the next step in complex document management. DITA, the Darwin Information Typing Architecture, is an XML-based OASIS standard that enables the creation and management of re-usable content for complex documents.

Zevrix improves print queue handling in BatchOutput for InDesign
Zevrix Solutions released BatchOutput 3.5.1, a maintenance update to its popular solution to automate printing and exporting from Adobe InDesign. BatchOutput lets users accomplish their tasks faster and with less resources by automating and simplifying the output from InDesign. The new update allows to change the output job name in printer queue when printing from non-admin accounts.
Toronto (ON), Canada - March 27, 2009 - Zevrix Solutions announces the release of version 3.5.1 of BatchOutput, its popular professional solution to automate printing and exporting from Adobe InDesign.
BatchOutput automates and simplifies InDesign output workflow of printers, ad agencies, service providers and publishing houses. With BatchOutput, users only need to select the files to output and adjust the settings, instead of opening and printing each document manually. BatchOutput lets users accomplish their tasks faster and with less resources. For example, BatchOutput can be left printing or exporting hundreds of InDesign files overnight, and the completed job can be picked up next morning.
BatchOutput also allows users to output InDesign documents as single pages, update links automatically, and output files invisibly for the user. BatchOutput automatically composes complex variable file names, which makes it equally indispensable for export of single documents as well.
The new update allows to change the output job name in printer queue when printing from non-admin accounts. This option is especially indispensable when sending InDesign files to printer as single pages. Using the option in previous versions could cause an error.
Pricing and Availability:
BatchOutput 3.5.1 can be purchased from the Zevrix Solutions web site, www.zevrix.com, for US$119.95, as well as from authorized resellers. Demo is also available for download at http://zevrix.com/download.php. Upgrade to BatchOutput 3.5.1 is free for licensed users of version 3.x, and US$40 for the users of earlier versions.

WoodWing Releases Smart Image CS4, an Assistive XMP Metadata Plug-In, for Adobe InDesign
ZAANDAM, The Netherlands (March 16, 2009) — WoodWing Software, a leading provider of publishing software for magazines, newspapers, books and corporate agencies, today released Smart Image for Adobe Creative Suite 4. Smart Image aids designers placing photographs on an InDesign page by automatically creating caption and credit text frames containing the embedded metadata stored within the photograph.
Professional photographers and stock agencies generally add XMP or IPTC metadata to their photos such as copyright information, location, subjects and keywords. In page layouts, the credit and description/caption are often placed next to the photograph. Smart Image is able to automatically create the desired text frames in InDesign and place them according to the user’s preferences, helping designers to avoid repetitive and time-consuming tasks.
Smart Image CS4 allows users to:
Selectively import caption/description information, credit information or both
Set object, paragraph, and character styling of imported text
Specify a position, width, and rotation of imported information
Insert custom text such as “Photo by” or “All rights reserved” to imported information
Preferences for Smart Image are stored within the InDesign document itself, so styles based on user, company, or project are easy to manage without copying settings files between computers. Smart Image also allows caption and credit placeholders to be created and styled so that when a photograph is placed in a frame, its metadata can come in styled automatically.
Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software, said, "Adobe Creative Suite 4 is a boon to the publishing industry. With Smart Image CS4, we aim to further increase the productivity of desktop publishing departments worldwide."
For more information and instructional videos, visit the Smart Image CS4 Web pages at http://www.woodwing.com/en/Smart_Image.
A free 30-day trial of Smart Image CS4 and other WoodWing software can be downloaded from the company website at http://www.woodwing.com/download.

Markzware announces the Release of PUB2ID V2 for Adobe InDesign CS3 and CS4
Publisher to InDesign Now Runs with Adobe CS4
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA -- March 11, 2009 -- Markzware (http://www.markzware.com), the leading developer of data extraction and conversion software and inventor of preflighting, released an upgrade to its highly recommended conversion tool PUB2ID for InDesign CS3 and CS4. PUB2ID v2 (Microsoft Publisher to Adobe InDesign) is a plug-in that enables users to convert native-application Microsoft Publisher files (MS Publisher versions 2002 through 2007) to Adobe InDesign while preserving the content, as well as the styles and formatting.
Markzware Quote:
"Markzware's mission is to make it easier for the creators and printers to work with the applications they are comfortable with so users can seamlessly integrate these valuable products into their existing workflow," said Mary Gay Marchese, public relations of Markzware.
A Simple Two-Click Process:
The Adobe InDesign user simply clicks on "File" in the toolbar, then "Open," and selects the Microsoft Publisher file for conversion. This simple two-step process initiates the conversion and opens the document in Adobe InDesign, saving graphic artists, prepress and printing professionals countless hours that would otherwise be spent recreating the document from the ground up.
User Feedback:
Dave Matthews, who heads up the prepress department for Progressive Printing said, “We have around 10-percent of our customers who use [Microsoft] Publisher. The PUB2ID plug-in has allowed me to stop booting up the PC for that one job per week… PUB2ID makes it very easy to deal with these files from customers… [It] was a great investment and paid for itself in the first week; because I had a big book to deal with, and if I didn’t have the PUB2ID plug-in, I would probably still be working on that book!”
Joe Phillips, Minuteman Press expressed, "One of the few programs that I have used that actually works the way I was told it would." Phillips continues, "Unlike every other conversion program we have used, there was no lengthy and complex process to convert the file. You simply open the file as if it were an InDesign file. It is almost as if the file were sent to you with the wrong file extension."
Graphic artist Davina Sauer said, "Worked great! It brought everything over, including the layout, fonts, graphics, and formatting. If a font was not installed on my system it would tell me what it was so I could load it. The best part was that everything was still editable, from the fonts to the graphics and layout."
The conversion is enabled with a single click using the InDesign File->Open menu. No more re-creating documents from scratch; PUB2ID gives users a big head-start.
Pricing and Availability:
Markzware's PUB2ID v2 is available from Software House International (SHI), Software Spectrum, Programmers Paradise, MacConnection, CDW and through Markzware Direct Sales at (800) 300-3532, or at Markzware's online store, http://www.markzware.com/pub2id/. The MSRP is $199 and the upgrade is $99 for PUB2ID v1.x users. For more information please visit http://www.markzware.com/pub2id/.
About Markzware:
Markzware, a privately-held company based in Santa Ana, California, is the leading developer of quality assurance, data conversion and workflow solutions for the international graphic arts, printing and digital multimedia industries. Quark Applies New Math to Old Problems
Quark News
March 12, 2009
**********
Quark Encourages Customers to Make QuarkXPress 3+4+5 Equal 8 Before September 30
Denver, CO – March 12, 2009 – Quark today announced that customers with old licenses of QuarkXPress®, from QuarkXPress 3 to QuarkXPress 5, can upgrade to the award-winning QuarkXPress 8 for the same low upgrade price until September 30, 2009.
"QuarkXPress 8 has reaffirmed my faith in the product and company, restoring the reliability and stability that a pre–press and design environment rely on,” said Malcolm Anderson, Studio Manager, TRMG. “I have no reservations in recommending QuarkXPress 8 to my company, clients, and staff."
Released in August, 2008, QuarkXPress 8 delivers an intuitive new interface, easy Flash® authoring, stunning new typographic features, native Illustrator® file import, and global publishing features. A comparison table, which can be viewed at http://8.quark.com/quarkupgrade/comparequark.html, shows users specifically which features have been added over the years and includes headline features from QuarkXPress 3 to QuarkXPress 8.
“We know that there are a significant number of customers in the world that either continue to use older versions of QuarkXPress or are previous users of the software,” said Gavin Drake, Quark marketing director. “What most people don’t know is that if they act now they can get all of those old licenses up to the latest version of QuarkXPress for the cost of an upgrade. We believe that QuarkXPress 8 is the version of QuarkXPress that customers have always wanted and that now is the perfect time to breathe new life into outdated licenses.”
Flash for Designers
One of the features in QuarkXPress 8 that is getting a lot of attention is the ability to create Flash and Web content using existing QuarkXPress 8 features and skills without having to learn to code. Examples include microsites, online portfolios, product tours, banners, and presentations.
“In the current economic climate it’s important that designers have a wide skill set in terms of the media they can design for. We have spoken with a large number of designers that would love to have a tool for creating Flash and Web content that’s easy for them to use and doesn’t require coding skills,” continued Drake. “The great news is that it now exists with QuarkXPress 8 so even if they are using other software for print design, for the cost of an upgrade, they can add Flash and Web design skills to their resume and client offering.”
Platform Independent
One of the reasons for a QuarkXPress license becomes redundant may be that customers have switched platforms from Windows® to Mac® (or vice versa), and not taken their QuarkXPress license with them. The good news is that QuarkXPress 8 upgrades and new licenses are platform independent, so customers do not need to specify Mac or Windows when purchasing – the license will install and activate on either platform. This avoids customers having to get involved with complex cross grade policies that other software vendors may have, making migration from one platform to another easy. With Quark’s dual-activation, a customer can even install their license on a Mac at work for example and a Windows computer at home (or vice versa).
“A lot has changed in Quark’s approach to licensing in recent years, all of which has been to make Quark easier to do business with,” said Drake. “We believe we have one of the most flexible licensing and support approaches in the industry with platform independent licensing, dual activation, and free phone and Web technical support. Customers who have not interacted with Quark for many years will, I’m sure, be pleasantly surprised.”
What’s Involved?
Upgrades under this program are available from Quark Authorized Resellers, the Quark Store, and Quark Customer Service. Customers will need to have access to the serial number of their previous license of QuarkXPress in order to successfully install QuarkXPress 8.
Missing Serial Number, Disks, or Product Box?
Customers that are unable to locate their old QuarkXPress serial number, program disks, or product box may still have the opportunity to upgrade their licenses. In these cases, customers can provide proof of purchase or complete an online “missing serial number” form at http://8.quark.com/quarkupgrade/missingserialnumber.html. Quark maintains an historical database of serial numbers based on the information provided in the form, and may still be able to locate a customer’s details enabling them to get QuarkXPress 8 for the cost of an upgrade.
For further information and answers to frequently asked questions on this program, please visit http://8.quark.com/quarkupgrade/.
Pricing and Availability
QuarkXPress 8 is available directly from Quark and through Quark® Authorized Resellers. An upgrade to QuarkXPress 8 is $299 (+Tax) and full product can be purchased for $799 (+Tax). To purchase, visit the QuarkStore www.quark.com/sales/estore.html or locate the nearest Quark Authorized Reseller at www.quark.com/sales/desktop/resellers.cfm.
60-Day Test Drive
In addition to being available for purchase, a free, fully functional, 60-day Test Drive version can be downloaded from http://8.quark.com/evaluation.html. To learn more about QuarkXPress 8 please visit http://8.quark.com.

Leading UK Newspaper Group Publishes in QuarkXPress 8
Leading Regional Newspaper Group is UK’s First to Publish in QuarkXPress 8
The Midland News Association Chooses Award-winning QuarkXPress 8 as the Backbone of Cutting-edge Editorial System
London, 4 March 2009 — Quark Inc. announced today that the Midland News Association, publishers of two of the UK’s top-selling evening newspapers, the Express & Star and Shropshire Star, has become the first UK newspaper group to go live using QuarkXPress 8.
The MNA, part of the independent family-owned Claverley Group, began producing the West Midlands Chronicles and Shropshire Weekly Newspapers series in January using a new editorial system from Press Computer Systems based on QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress Server 8 for pagination.
The Kidderminster Chronicle was the first newspaper off the press, followed by the Telford Journal and Walsall Chronicle. QuarkXPress 8 and the new system will be implemented across all twenty weekly titles in the group by the end of May. The next step will be to upgrade the daily newspapers, Express & Star and Shropshire Star, to the new system.
The desire to remain with Quark was a key factor in the MNA’s decision to specify QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress Server 8 as the base for its preferred version of the smart and versatile KnowlEDGE development.
“Our group’s titles are extremely popular across the West Midlands and Shropshire and we pride ourselves on our reputation for being innovative and cutting-edge,” said Adrian Faber, MNA Editorial Director, and Editor of the flagship Express & Star. “We have always been quick to embrace new technology, and there has been so much positive opinion in the market surrounding QuarkXPress 8 that we were keen to upgrade and maintain QuarkXPress as a key part of our editorial workflow.
“We have also found that while users have been able to take advantage of the many new features within QuarkXPress 8, their very familiarity with QuarkXPress as a product on which many users have worked for years, has been a positive factor in easing the transition to KnowlEDGE,” he added.
“Quark has gone to great lengths to improve the overall usability and efficiency in QuarkXPress 8. This is extremely evident in the redesigned use interface, which takes existing tools and expands their functionality in an intuitive way to make the user instantly more efficient at day-to-day tasks. In addition, the new Content tool allows significantly streamlined manipulation of boxes as well as their content, eliminating the need for time-consuming tool changes or menu commands. All of these improvements mean that our users can now work faster and smarter, which is extremely important in a busy newspaper environment,” continued Faber.
Press Computer Systems Ltd is a leading systems supplier to the UK publishing industry with a comprehensive suite of proven integrated systems specifically designed to maximize the potential efficiency and profitability of information publishing. PCS has developed KnowlEDGE, a leading-edge editorial workflow system that integrates seamlessly with QuarkXPress.
Philip Walker, Managing Director of PCS, said, “KnowlEDGE is a system built from the ground up to integrate some very smart technologies, many of them very new to the newspaper industry. But PCS has worked closely with Quark for many years delivering to the industry innovative and cost-effective solutions. That close working relationship has meant we have been able to rapidly integrate QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress Server 8 within the overall KnowlEDGE package.”
“By maintaining a position at the cutting-edge of technology, we are committed to developing systems that help our customers to continue to push their business forward both in terms of revenue and technology.”
Matthew Wallis, Quark senior vice president of sales in Europe and Africa, said, “Quark’s dynamic publishing technology can bring significant productivity benefits to the newspaper sector by streamlining the workflow and automating business processes to gain greater efficiency. We are thrilled that PCS, who have been at the forefront of the UK newspaper computer revolution, are leveraging the creative power of QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkXPress Server 8 to deliver dynamic publishing systems to their customers.”

Zevrix Solutions announces the release of BatchOutput 3.5, an upgrade to its popular solution to automate printing and exporting from Adobe InDesign. The new version adds the ability to automate export of InDesign documents to the InDesign Interchange file format (INX). With BatchOutput 3.5, users can repurpose multiple InDesign documents for its earlier versions with just a click of a button instead of opening and exporting each document manually.
Toronto (ON), Canada - February 26, 2009 - Zevrix Solutions announces the release of version 3.5 of BatchOutput, its popular professional solution to automate printing and exporting from Adobe InDesign.
BatchOutput saves valuable production time and simplifies workflows of printers, ad agencies, service providers and publishing houses by automating the output from InDesign.
The new version adds the ability to export to the InDesign Interchange file format (INX), dramatically simplifying repurposing of InDesign documents for its earlier versions.
Pricing and Availability:
BatchOutput 3.5 can be purchased from the Zevrix Solutions web site for US$119.95, as well as from authorized resellers. Demo is also available for download. Upgrade to BatchOutput 3.5 is free for licensed users of version 3.x, and US$40 for the users of earlier versions.

WoodWing has released Enterprise 6 Content Publishing Platform
New content planning and web delivery tools lead the feature set of Enterprise 6
ZAANDAM, The Netherlands (February 3, 2009) — WoodWing Software has released Enterprise 6, the latest version of the company’s flagship content publishing platform. Equipped with a new editing application called “Content Station”, Enterprise 6 offers article planning tools, direct access to any type of content repository, and integrated Web delivery functionality. Content Station allows users to efficiently create articles for delivery to the Web, print, and mobile devices, and offers out-of-the-box integration with the open-source Web content management system Drupal.
“We've always separated layout from content, but we now separate content from publications,” said Erik Schut, president of WoodWing. “Our competitors still follow a single channel model in their products, believing that an XML export makes a solution cross-media. In Enterprise 6, publication channels are native concepts, each with an associated publishing system. Major internal changes to the system have been made to allow for this radical new approach.”
Content Station works with Enterprise’s new server plug-ins to allow users to search, select, and retrieve content stored in other third-party repositories such as digital asset management systems, archives, and wire systems. Video, audio, and text files can then be collected into “dossiers”, edited, and set for delivery to a variety of outputs, all from a single user-interface. A built-in XML editor lets authors create documents intended solely for digital output. The content planning application lets managers assign content to users both inside and outside of the office.
Enterprise’s Web publishing capabilities feature a direct integration with Drupal, the popular open-source Web content management system. Content authors click on a single button to preview or deliver content directly to Drupal and get information such as page views, ratings, and comments back from the Web CMS. And if something needs to be pulled from the site, editors can simply click “Unpublish”. They don’t have to contact a separate Web editor or navigate through another system’s interface. The server plug-in architecture also allows for any other Web content management system to be easily connected.
Other features in Enterprise 6 address print industry-specific needs in InDesign, such as jumping articles from one page or document to another, a plug-in called Smart Image that automates importing of XMP metadata from images into text frames, and the ability to save InDesign documents as Layout Modules which can have their own workflow and be reused in multiple layouts. A new versioning system and deeper integration with Adobe’s InDesign server also debuted. For a full list of features, demo videos and more information, visit www.woodwing.com
.
Enterprise 6 is currently already in use by several customers, including Express Newspapers, UK.

News Highlights
• Automates intricate data entry, saving time and money: AutoPrice links databases to InDesign or QuarkXPress documents, automating previously costly, time-intensive and tedious manual entry of prices and other material;
• Adds greater document flexibility: With AutoPrice, records can be extracted from any type of database and placed anywhere within InDesign documents. Updating, reformatting, revising, batch processing and versioning becomes relatively effortless, reducing errors and accelerating production cycles. Users can create more flexible catalogs, and similar publications in less time;
• Updates graphics: AutoPrice can also be used to instantly insert or swap out product pictures, logos or any type of graphic image;
• Compatible with existing workflows: AutoPrice software is compatible with versions of the Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress applications.
SCHAUMBURG, IL -- February 2, 2009 -- Meadows Publishing Solutions (MPS) today announced the release of their AutoPrice˙ plug-in module for Adobe InDesign CS4 users on both Macintosh® and PC platforms. AutoPrice is a powerful yet easy-to-use tool for linking text and graphics in any type of database to Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress® documents, vastly streamlining production. Proven over 14 years by many of the largest catalog and financial publishers throughout the world, AutoPrice has set the standard for plug-in based data-connectivity software.
As the name implies, AutoPrice is engineered to automate the process of inserting, updating and versioning prices for catalogs, retail flyers and similar publications. It is also ideal for updating timetables, phone lists or any other type of information that can be referenced from a database or spreadsheet file. For more information about MPS software, please visit www.meadowsps.com
.
How It Works
AutoPrice extracts and updates prices (or other data) via „placeholders‰ within InDesign (or QuarkXPress) documents that are linked to records in any type of database or spreadsheet. Placeholders can be positioned anywhere on the page, even within running text, and can be styled without restriction for maximum design possibilities. Raw database prices can also be styled in virtually any fashion as they are extracted.
More flexible catalogs, flyers, timetables and similar publications can be created and manipulated in less time. Users can update, reformat, revise and spin off multiple versions with far less effort, thereby reducing errors and accelerating production cycles. A single command can update (re-price) an entire publication from a revised database. The AutoPrice database engine is mature, field-tested and proven to be lightning fast, typically requiring no more than a few seconds to completely update a page.
Update Graphics, Generate Reports, Batch Process
AutoPrice also supports graphic file import and exchange, which includes advanced searching and error reporting capabilities. Comprehensive and fully-featured report generation aids proofing, billing or index generation. For large projects and multiple files, AutoPrice supplies selectable batch processing, also complete with full reporting. An entire catalog containing hundreds of individual documents can be fully processed within minutes.
Full Compatibility
AutoPrice is now available for InDesign CS4 and QuarkXPress 7, as well as previous versions, from Meadows Publishing Solutions. For more information, please visit www.meadowsps.com .

Smart Image saves layout time in InDesign
New productivity plug-in by WoodWing Software
Zaandam, The Netherlands (December 4th, 2008) – DTP departments use thousands of photos and images every day, adding captions and credits manually. Most of these pictures, though, already contain ready-to-use descriptions and copyrights. WoodWing decided to put these to use in InDesign, saving time and improving efficiency.
Saving time
Smart Image, WoodWing’s new plug-in for Adobe InDesign, will save DTP departments many hours of tedious, repetitive and error-prone work. When placing an image in InDesign, the attached caption and/or credit text frames are created and filled with text automatically, all at once and with a single mouse-click. Saving just one minute per photo adds up to many hours per week.
Use what’s already there
Most professional photographers and stock agencies add metadata to their photos in XMP or IPTC format. They add their own copyright information, and fill out fields to describe and catalog their images with locations, subjects and keywords. In most cases, credit information can be placed by Smart Image without the need for modification by the user. Descriptions may need some fine-tuning, but generally provide a perfect place to start. After inserting the image, the created text frames are ready to edit.
Flexible but consistent layout
Settings, styles and templates can be used to add the text frames according to company, department, document or any user preferences. Text position, alignment, rotation and size can all be set in advance. Caption and credits may be combined into a single frame. Even standard prefixes and/or suffixes are available, for example, to automatically create credits such as: “Photo by [author]. All rights reserved.”.
Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software, said, “Photographers may not be aware of it, but from now on, they’ll be helping DTP departments to be even more productive.”

New QuarkXPress 8 and CS4 Integration Booklet
Quark News
December 3, 2008
**********
Comprehensive Free Booklet and Video Provide Practical Guidance to Using QuarkXPress 8 with Adobe Creative Suite
Downloadable 36-Page Booklet Demonstrates how Creative Suite Users Can Work Seamlessly with QuarkXPress 8 for the Best Possible Integrated Design Experience
DENVER - 12-03-2008 - Quark Inc. announced today the availability of a free booklet, online content, and video to enable creative professionals to unlock the full potential of their design tools. The book, downloadable from http://8.quark.com/cs_integration, details how QuarkXPress® 8 users can work seamlessly with Photoshop®, Illustrator®, Dreamweaver®, Flash® and PDFs either separately or within Adobe® Creative Suite®. It also provides an introduction to QuarkXPress 8 for InDesign® users, outlining both the similarities and differences that users should know.
The booklet, which was previously available for QuarkXPress 7, has been updated to reflect the changes in both QuarkXPress 8 and Adobe Creative Suite 4. QuarkXPress 8 builds on the previous integration with leading design applications, with new support for native Illustrator (.ai) files and built-in Flash design capabilities. Through standards such as SWF, XHTML and CSS, QuarkXPress 8 users can design across media both within the integrated design environment of QuarkXPress 8 and alongside dedicated Adobe Creative Suite applications, like Adobe Flash and Adobe Dreamweaver. The booklet outlines in more detail how QuarkXPress works with Creative Suite and the best practices that users should follow when using these design applications together.
Getting the Full Potential from Leading Design Tools
QuarkXPress and Photoshop are two of the most widely used design applications, and QuarkXPress is considered by some to have the best integration with Photoshop’s PSD file format. The booklet recommends when designers should use the PSD file format for images and gives tips on how to get the best results.
The booklet also covers Illustrator—another extensively used application—as well as the refined pen tools in QuarkXPress 8 for the creation of logos and vector illustrations. Traditionally, the route for bringing Illustrator files into QuarkXPress has been to export an EPS from Illustrator; now it is possible to import native Illustrator files into QuarkXPress 8. This gives much more flexibility as well as the advantage of having an Illustrator file that can be easily shared across the organization. In addition, the new pen tools in QuarkXPress 8 mean that users may decide to create more of their vector artwork directly in QuarkXPress 8.
Another topic covered in the booklet is an introduction to the built-in Flash design capabilities of QuarkXPress 8, which make it easier than ever to output Flash (.swf) files directly from a page-layout application. Users can easily create interactive materials by leveraging the design precision and ease-of-use of QuarkXPress with the power and flexibility of the Flash format. This means that users can create for print, Web and Flash in a single integrated environment, with synchronized design and content without having to learn to code.
“QuarkXPress now has better integration with Adobe Creative Suite than ever before, and this free booklet highlights how users can leverage all of these applications to improve their design experience,” said Marc Horne, Quark Senior Product Marketing Manager. “The booklet also highlights some of the differences between QuarkXPress 8 and Adobe InDesign to help users evaluate the most appropriate page-layout tool for specific tasks, and it outlines how both QuarkXPress and InDesign integrate with key design applications within Creative Suite.” The free book is available to download at http://8.quark.com/cs_integration/ along with a short video that shows some of the highlights.

WoodWing meets Adobe CS4 announcement with Smart Styles CS4 Beta release
PRESS RELEASE - for immediate release
WoodWing meets Adobe CS4 announcement with Smart Styles CS4 Beta release
Zaandam, The Netherlands (September 24, 2008) – Adobe helped publishers prepare for the future with yesterday’s introduction of Creative Suite 4, and WoodWing Software greets the launch today with the news that all of its products will be fully compatible with CS4.
Blended Media Philosophy
“Adobe continues to revolutionize the publishing industry with the launch of CS4, and publishers are going to be blown away when they see some of the improvements,” said Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software. “Specifically, the new InDesign CS4 feature to directly export to Flash, and the channel-specific text in InCopy CS4. All of this meshes perfectly with WoodWing’s philosophy of ‘blended media,’ the convergence between print and online.”
More Smartness
“After eight years of developing Smart plug-ins, we're delighted to see that Adobe is helping WoodWing bring maximum smartness to InDesign CS4, with new features such as Smart Guides, Smart Dimensions and Smart Text Reflow,” Schut added. “For corporate publishers, the enhanced table editing inside InCopy will be of great value. And the Live Preflight feature will be a tremendous help to improve efficiency with on-the-fly alerts about potential production problems.”
WoodWing Labs with Smart Styles CS4
The first WoodWing product available for CS4 is the company’s renowned Smart Styles efficiency plug-in for Adobe InDesign. A beta release is already available on the brand new WoodWing Labs Web site, at labs.woodwing.com
. Additional beta releases are planned to be released shortly, with the first CS4-compatible products shipping before the end of the year. All of WoodWing’s products will be compatible with CS4.
“This is all about helping our customers position themselves for the future,” Schut said. “This is the approach that we have with our ‘blended media’ philosophy, and Adobe’s CS4 helps take this to the next level. We share the same philosophy with Adobe: Never stop making your products better. The future isn’t tomorrow. The future is now.”

Quark Introduces Quark Publishing System 8, QuarkCopyDesk 8, and QuarkXPressServer 8 in Support of QuarkXPress 8
Quark Introduces Quark Publishing System 8, QuarkCopyDesk8, and QuarkXPress Server 8 in Support of QuarkXPress 8
Quark’s Fully Compatible Enterprise and Dynamic Publishing Solutions to be Demonstrated at IFRA and Graph Expo
Denver, CO — September 24, 2008 — Quark announced today the simultaneous fall release of Quark Publishing System® 8, QuarkCopyDesk® 8, and QuarkXPress® Server 8, marking the complete compatibility of Quark’s enterprise solutions with QuarkXPress 8. With the release of these offerings, customers can leverage the superior design capabilities of QuarkXPress 8 with the flexible, automated workflow of QPS® in their publishing environments. Together these offerings connect key publishing tasks and technologies to help customers lay the groundwork for Quark® Dynamic Publishing Solution.
Built on an open standards-based architecture, QPS 8 provides a flexible framework for marketing departments, agencies, and magazine and newspaper publishers to manage their publishing workflows. Through compatibility with QuarkXPress 8, QPS 8 delivers greater design capability for the delivery of print, Web, and Flash® output, and — through the universal file format of QuarkXPress 8 and QuarkCopyDesk 8 — allows publishers to preview, edit, and output high-fidelity documents created anywhere in the world.
QuarkCopyDesk 8, Quark’s text and picture editing software, and QuarkXPress Server 8, the composition and rendering engine that powers publishing workflows and business applications — both core components of QPS — are also compatible with QuarkXPress 8. QuarkCopyDesk 8 inherits QuarkXPress 8’s new intuitive interface, advanced typographical control, and support for East Asian text, as well as improved page and baseline grid features, and operating system-level drag-and-drop functionality.
In addition to compatibility with QuarkCopyDesk 8, QuarkXPress Server 8, and QuarkXPress 8, QPS 8 introduces:
-- A ready-made adapter for AlfrescoTM Enterprise 2, the leading open source content management system, allowing users to store assets in a single repository and view and update content in real-time -- User interface support for 13 languages including Japanese, as well as hyphenation and spell checking for more than 30 languages, enabling advanced international collaboration
-- Improved asset management through QPS Connect Client, including multi-page preview, multiple asset check-in, metadata tagging, custom grouping, and full text search functionality
-- QPS Web Hub support for East Asian languages, including the support for Rubi and Group Characters
-- Support for native Adobe® Illustrator® file formats, which eliminates the need to switch back and forth between QuarkXPress and Illustrator for editing
QPS is the most flexible and easy-to-use workflow system available today. Unlike Woodwing’s Smart Connection Enterprise and Softcare’s K4, only QPS offers XML-based Job Jackets technology to evaluate design and content accuracy in order to prevent errors early in the production process. Only QPS offers ready-made integration with Alfresco Enterprise 2, the leading open-source content management system. In addition, it is the easiest workflow system to set up because it is configured through a graphical user interface instead of a browser interface or text-based configuration scripts. QPS also works with more desktop applications than Smart Connection Enterprise and K4.
“Quark Publishing System 8 is the most flexible, cost-effective, and easy-to-use publishing system available today,” said PG Bartlett, Senior Vice President of Product Management for Quark. “Its compatibility with QuarkXPress 8, combined with the power of QuarkCopyDesk 8 and QuarkXPress Server 8, helps customers build the foundation for dynamic publishing.”
Quark will be onsite at IFRA (Booth #10240) October 27-30, 2008 and Graph Expo (Booth #4421) October 26-29, 2008 to demonstrate Quark Dynamic Publishing Solution, QPS 8, QuarkCopyDesk 8, QuarkXPress Server 8, and QuarkXPress 8. While onsite at the two events, Quark will make another significant announcement related to QPS 8.
Quark Publishing System 8, QuarkCopyDesk 8 and QuarkXPress Server 8 will be available in Q4 2008.
