Manage a Job Jacket in Basic Settings Mode

To complete the exercises in this chapter, click here to download the RF_Quark7 > Chapter16 folder into your Work_In_Progress folder. These exercises will not work if you try to use the file directly from the Resource CD.

The first time the Job Jackets Manager is opened, it appears in Basic Settings mode. After that, it opens in the last-used mode.

X-Ray Magazine Reprints: ATC Job JacketsIf the Job Jackets Manager is in Advanced Settings mode, click the Basic button to switch to Basic Settings mode.

X-Ray Magazine Reprints: ATC Job JacketsNavigate to the file AVProduction.xml in your Work_In_Progress > Chapter16 folder and click Open.

X-Ray Magazine Reprints: ATC Job Jackets Click the AVProduction job jacket to select it and click the Edit button. In the Edit Job Jacket manager, click the arrow to the left of Settings to expand the dialog box and show the different options.

Page Count: 1
Page Width: 10"
Page Height: 16"
Margins: 0.5"
Bleeds: 0.125"
Color Standard: CMYK
Spot Color: None
Total Inks: 4

Notice the title bar of the navigation dialog box says "Select Project or Job Jacket". You can append style settings from either of these sources.
