Part 3 of 3: Job Jackets and Project Files
Page 16
Attach a Ticket to an Existing Project
Open coscielAdFinal.qxp from the RF_Quark7 > Chapter16 folder.
Choose File > Job Jackets > Link Project.
In the Link Project dialog box, select the AVProduction job jacket. If it is not listed, click Browse and locate it in your Work_In_Progress folder.

Click Attach to link the open file to the default ticket template in the selected job jacket.
When the Project window comes back into focus, the project will have a second layout — Poster — which is defined in the ticket template that you just attached. You can simply delete this layout since it will not be used, or just leave it alone.

Display the Poster Ad layout in the Project window and then open the Job Jackets Manager.
In Basic Settings mode, highlight the ticket that is attached to the coscielAdFinal file and click the Edit button. Don't edit the ticket template, edit the active ticket that is attached to the layout.
In the Style Settings tab of the Edit Job Ticket dialog box, click Character Style Sheets in the Resources list.
Click Include All to add the available character style sheets to the job ticket.
In the previous exercise, you imported resources into the job jacket, but you only added the colors to the job ticket. When you attached the ticket template to the cosciel file, the colors were added but not the style sheets.
By editing the job ticket that is attached to the actual project file, you are now adding additional job-jacket resources to the current project.

Click OK, then click Save to close the Job Jackets Manager.
The three character style sheets are now listed in the open project's Style Sheets palette.

Save the file as "cosciel_check.qxp" in your Work_In_Progress folder and continue to the next section.
